Guests order from outside, you work from inside, and nobody tracks through the house. As a grain bin outdoor kitchen. The countertop opening gives you a natural run for a grill, a griddle, a keg fridge, or a prep station. Shipping and Delivery
Build time averages about two months. Sioux Steel builds every gazebo to order at their plant in Lennox, South Dakota. When the shop is caught up it has run as quick as seven weeks; when they're backed up it has run as long as fourteen. Truck transit is on top of that, and it depends how far you are from South Dakota. If you're working toward a listing opening date or a booked event, call or text 1-800-914-0074 and we'll tell you what's realistic today — we'd rather give you a real date than a guess.
Freight is quoted for your address — there's no flat rate on these. You'll see a $1,500 figure quoted around this category; that is an average only. It is not a flat fee, not a cap, and not a quote. Some deliveries land well under it and some land well over. Rural, remote, and hard-to-reach addresses cost more — a long gravel road, a narrow driveway, or a spot a semi can't easily get to all push the price up. Larger diameters and deluxe packages ship in bigger, heavier crates and cost more to move.
You are not charged any freight at checkout, so that average can never quietly become your bill. How the delivery works. We place your order with the factory and confirm your delivery location and access details. Once the crate ships we send you tracking. The trucking company calls you directly to set up the delivery day — we don't control that window, so keep your phone handy once you have tracking. Someone needs to be there to receive and inspect the shipment. Delivery is curbside, by freight truck; this does not ship by parcel service.
Plan for how you'll get it off the truck. This is the part people underestimate. The crate is 148 inches long and runs about 700 pounds, and the deluxe package comes in two of them. That's too long for a delivery liftgate — liftgate service caps out at 96 inches, so it isn't an option on this shipment. You'll want either a tractor or forklift on site, or several strong helpers to unload it by hand with the driver. Have that sorted before delivery day. If that won't work at your address, call us before you order and we'll figure out a plan together.
Picking it up yourself is an option. The plant is in Lennox, South Dakota, and customer pickup can cost a lot less than freight. If you're within driving distance and have the trailer for it, ask us.
Inspect the crate before you sign for it, and note any visible damage on the delivery paperwork. That's what protects you if something got knocked around in transit.
